Why I Do This Work
I've spent 15+ years in high-stakes corporate environments - from qualifying as a lawyer at an international firm to leading complex IP transactions and valuations as Director. I achieved external success, earned recognition in the TRI 250 Hall of Fame, and guided strategic transactions involving household names like Thomas Cook, Monarch Airlines, Bolton Wanderers FC, Blackpool FC, TM Lewin, MFI, Land of Leather, British Ceramic Tile, Bank Fashion, Poundworld, and many others.
Yet like many high-achievers, I sometimes questioned whether there was more to professional and personal life. That tension between achievement and authentic fulfilment - at work and beyond - is exactly what I help my clients navigate.

The Corporate Reality
Success came with a personal cost that many high-performers recognise - the constant pressure to perform, the difficulty switching off, and the gradual disconnect from what truly mattered. I was effective and driven, but operating in a way that wasn't sustainable long-term.
The tell-tale signs were there: the inability to truly relax, responding to life purely through logic rather than allowing feelings into the equation, and the physical manifestations of chronic stress. I didn't initially connect these dots - I was too focused on covering every base and managing every risk.
The Turning Point
I took a step back to reassess what sustainable success really meant. Through coaching and strategic reflection, I learned to leverage my natural strengths, recognise patterns that enhanced versus depleted my performance, and make intentional choices about optimising my professional impact.
This wasn't about abandoning ambition - it was about channeling it more effectively. I stepped back to gain perspective, optimised my approach to high performance, and relocated to the Scottish Highlands to create an environment that amplifies rather than undermines professional excellence.
